Our postage options and costs will be changing as of 2018. To make postage easier and more effective for you, we have changed our courier service to try and avoid any complications or inconveniences. As we have changed couriers, it means the postage prices have been reduced and we now offer much simpler postage options to ensure you receive your parcel on time and to save you waiting around all day for the postman!
UK Shipping Methods
To avoid any confusion and inconvenience, we now offer more concise postage methods. The set shipping methods are also cheaper, meaning our new courier should save you time and money. They are as follows:
- Free shipping on orders over £100 – under 30kg
- UK 24 hour tracked delivery, up to 2kg – £2.99
- UK 48 hour tracked delivery, up to 2kg – £3.99
- UK next day delivery, up to 30kg – £5.95
- UK next working day by 12pm, up to 30kg – £8.95
- UK Saturday delivery, up to 30kg – £18.50
- Scottish Highlands and Islands, up to 30kg – £12.50 (2 working days)
- Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Sicily, up to 30kg – £14.00 (2 working days)
- The Isle of Wight, up to 30kg – £11.00

We have also changed our worldwide shipping methods to make it easier and most cost effective for all our international customers.

Prescriptions
We understand that your patients need their prescriptions at specific times and some orders may be extremely urgent. However, we cannot guarantee when it will be delivered as once it has left Phoenix Medical, it is sadly not in our hands. We recommend choosing Royal Mail special delivery when placing your prescriptions as it is the only guaranteed option available. As prescriptions are tailored made, they are exempt from the Consumers Act and unfortunately, once they have been placed, they are unable to be amended so please ensure all prescriptions are correct before placing them. Please visit the dispensary website to place your prescriptions.
Although we strive to ensure you receive your parcel on time by implementing an easier and more reliable service, it is sadly not a guaranteed service. We understand that you and your patients need your orders as soon as possible but we do advise you not to leave placing orders until the last minute to allow for any complications that may arise. Due to high demand and a large workload, orders must be placed before 2pm for next day delivery, as we have to allow time to carry out our numerous quality checks. We also offer a collection service which allows you or your customer to pick up your order from our office in Chelmsford, Essex.
