Kinesiology Tape
Kinesiology Tape was first invented in Japan in the 1970s. Its purpose was to target ligament and tissue injuries, while gently massaging and stimulating the affected area. Due to its functionality, Kinesiology Tape is still very popular. Recently, you may have noticed how many athletes use kinesiology tape, as it can improve their sporting performance, prevent injury and allow them to return to sport quicker. Kinesiology tape is not just limited to physiotherapists. Athletes, acupuncture patients, sports clubs or anyone suffering from muscle or joint pain can use it. We recommend keeping a roll or two in your home, just in case!
The beauty of Kinesiology Taping is that it can be used at home. We recommend using the tape in addition to treatment as well as continuing the process at home to yield quicker results and prolong the effect of treatment. The complex structure of cotton and finer fibres creates a silky feel, which ensures water is not absorbed by the tape, therefore making it water resistant. The glue is produced in Germany and complies with EU safety standards. It is also hypoallergenic and can be worn for 4 to 7 days, without irritating the skin. Due to the fine fibres, Phoenix Tape stretches 1.5 times more than the leading brand, making it more flexible and durable.
Our range includes seven designs; pink, black, blue, beige, tattoo, pink light reflective and black light reflective. Our tattoo tape is super soft and stretches in multiple directions, as unlike the other tapes, the tattoo tape is made from nylon to achieve a skin-like feel. It also features our very own unique Phoenix tattoo design!
The light reflective tapes are the real stars of the show! They are the first of their kind on the market and are perfect for those who train outside. We have used advanced technology to create light reflective tape, using small glass balls rather than artificial chemicals and colourings.
