One Needle Therapy Masterclass with Dr Wei-Chieh Young

One Needle Therapy

Since 2018, we have had the great honour of working with Dr Wei-Chieh Young and Dr Michael Chong to teach the famous Tung’s points in the UK. We have previously hosted The Complete Course of Tung’s Acupuncture and Tung Acupuncture Workshops. We are now extremely proud to welcome Dr Wei-Chieh Young and Dr Michael Chong to host the ‘One Needle Therapy’ Course on June 25th – 28th.

One Needle Therapy

In this four-day seminar, Master Young Wei-Chieh will be teaching the highest level of acupuncture practice—One Needle Therapy. This seminar is the distillation of Master Young’s many decades of practice and vast clinical experience, in combination with the ceaseless study of both classic and modern Chinese Medicine texts and personal studies with Chinese Medicine and acupuncture masters of the previous generation.

Each day of the seminar will be devoted to presenting clearly the best treatments for a wide variety of medical conditions. Highly effective one-needle points used to treat commonly seen diseases in the spheres of internal medicine, dermatology, gynaecology, paediatrics, pain, and five-sense organs will be taught in detail. Points used are drawn from both the classic 14-channel and Master Tung acupuncture systems.

In addition to presenting the most effective one-needle points, Master Young will discuss the combination of two or three one-needle points and how this can enhance effectiveness. He will teach how to select the points, the techniques to use with the points, point combinations, as well as the theories that explain why the points are so effective in the clinic. Master Young has indicated that in this seminar he will also be presenting the rarely taught Master Young Dual Needle Zone Therapy Technique and its unique ability to rapidly resolve medical issues.

This seminar is a rare opportunity to study with a true master and is guaranteed to revolutionise your acupuncture practice.

Dr Wei-Chieh Young

Dr Young was one of just 73 apprentices taken on by Master Tung in 1973, which means Dr Young’s teachings came first hand from the master himself. As Dr Young has spent over 40 years dedicated to acupuncture: researching, writing and practising, his knowledge is truly second to none.

His ‘no holding back’ attitude is the reason he continues to fill lecture halls. Even throughout the development of modern health and herbal practice, Dr Young’s practise has remained effective and relevant. Dr Wei-Chieh Young’s understanding of TCM, in the philosophical and conceptual sense, underpins his ability to recreate success in more patients, treat new modern-day diseases and share his passion and knowledge to other practitioners.

Dr Michael Chong

Dr Michael Chong received his Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from Tianjin University and has been a pupil of Dr Young for over 25 years. He has spent decades studying and researching Tung’s Acupuncture, as well as touring Asia, Europe and Canada with Dr Young translating and assisting his teachings.

We are fortunate enough to have Dr Michael Chong translating the entire course. Dr Chong’s translations are clear, precise and extremely accurate after over 25 years studying and translating Dr Young’s teachings. Dr Chong is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese and is a captivating and enthusiastic teacher.

As well as translating the One Needle Therapy Masterclass, Dr Chong will also be teaching the Tung Acupuncture Workshops this year. We are hosting three workshops: Level 1, 2 and 3 to suit practitioners of all abilities. Limited tickets are still available here.

Places are extremely limited for this course and we expect it to sell out, so we recommend booking now to avoid disappointment! We are offering Early Bird tickets for £910 until March 31st 2020. After this date, the price will increase to £990. If you are a member of the BAcC or have attended a Phoenix course previously, you may be eligible for a discount.
