Happy Lunar New Year!
Chinse New Year celebrates the beginning of a new year on the lunar calendar. The festival is referred to as the Spring Festival and sees millions of people celebrating with friends and family with copious amounts of food, decorations and fireworks.
This year we welcome the Lunar New Year and celebrate the Year of the Pig on February 5th!
Year of the Pig
According to Chinese astrology, 2019 is a great year to make money and invest! It is going to be a year full of joy, friendship and love for all the zodiac signs. Chinese astrologers believe 2019 is an auspicious year as the Pig attracts success in all the spheres of life due to its calming influence.
People with Chinese zodiac Pig sign are usually considerate, responsible, independent and optimistic. They always show generousness and mercy to endure other people’s mistakes, which help them gain harmonious relationships. However, sometimes they can be seen as naïve and gullible. If you were born in 1947, 1959, 1971 or 1983, this could apply to you!
2019
To celebrate Spring Festival, we will be including a red envelope in orders over £50 from February 4th until February 8th. Red pockets are traditionally given during Chinese New Year. The red colour of the envelope symbolizes good luck and the pockets are thought to be a token of good wishes. The Phoenix envelopes will contain a special thank you for your continuous support over the past and coming years.
