We are always looking to expand the Phoenix group – whether that is working with partners, stocking new products or hosting more educational courses. Lately, we have been investing in Phoenix Food and Nutrition as we understand that nutrition is a huge contributor to a healthy lifestyle.
With that being said, we are pleased to introduce our new product range: Mycology Nutrition! The range is a collection of 9 mushrooms in both capsule and powder form to help enhance your health.
Mycology Nutrition
The mushrooms are grown in California on 100% organic and gluten-free oats rather than rice which ensures the mushrooms are free from arsenic and heavy metals. The mushrooms are dried and milled before they are tested for heavy metals in both the USA and Germany. Like all of Phoenix products, the mushrooms are 100% natural and have no preservatives, colourings or GMOs. This is to ensure a pure and authentic end product as the potent activity is maintained through growing the mushrooms in strictly controlled conditions to the last GMP.
Unlike other mushrooms products, Mycology Nutrition uses the whole food rather than an extract to ensure better digestibility. All of the products contain both mycelium and a fruiting body to ensure there is no loss of the valuable enzymes, co-enzymes and important co-factors. The organic mushrooms are high in fibre and vitamins and minerals, specifically vitamin D2. They are high in ergosterol which is converted into vitamin D2. This vitamin is known to be deficient in Western diets due to our lovely British weather!
As the mushrooms are available in both powder and capsule form, they are easy to incorporate 
into a healthy lifestyle. The powdered mushrooms come with a 120-gram spoon and can be mixed with drinks, cereal or soups. The capsules are vegetarian capsules and each contains 450mg per capsule. Please note they cannot be mixed with acidic drinks such as orange juice. **Please consult a practitioner to receive correct dosage.
