Phoenix Medical Ltd has been the proud exclusive distributor of Jiangyin Tianjiang Pharmaceutical products since 2011. It is, therefore, our responsibility to protect the brand and its products. It has come to our attention that certain suppliers within the UK are selling concentrated herbal granules with Tianjiang Pharmaceutical branding, without authorisation from Tianjiang or Phoenix Medical. These products have been obtained via an unknown source.
The dangers:
The dangers behind purchasing from unapproved resellers are that we cannot ensure
the same quality control standards are met. The Tianjiang products made for Phoenix have been specially formulated to comply with European standards to ensure they are safe for consumption. The products sold for the Chinese market do not comply with specialised European regulations regarding toxicity, heavy metals, pesticide levels, gluten control and sulphur treatment. These third-party products could be counterfeit and cause potential risks for your patients.

As it is our duty to not only protect the brand but the industry as a whole, we see the importance of ensuring this matter does not happen again. Therefore, Phoenix is taking legal action to prevent these products from circulating the UK market and causing potentially harmful adverse reactions.
If any of our customers have purchased Tianjiang concentrated herbal granules from an unauthorised third-party seller and they do not have the same packaging as the image below, please stop using these products immediately. Furthermore, please get in contact with our team and we will be happy to replace these items with authentic products free of charge.*
