Phoenix Medical How to Use Herbal Granules - Tea

Drink: the easiest way to use your granules is to drink them. Add a spoonful of your prescribed Phoenix Medical granules into a mug. Add boiling water to the mug and stir until the granules have fully dissolved. Once all dissolved, drink the tea-like liquid and enjoy!

Phoenix How to use herbal granules - syrup

Syrup: this method is great for producing cough syrups or for kids (or adults!) who dislike the taste of Chinese medicine. Simply add water to a saucepan and boil until the water is hot then add your prescribed amount of granules. Stir the mixture until the granules have completely dissolved and most of the water has evaporated. The mixture should have formed a thick consistency. Take the saucepan off the heat and mix honey with it to create a sweet syrup and then store in a clean, sterilised jar. When it is time to take your herbal medicine, simply add the number of recommended spoonful’s to a mug of hot water and drink. Alternatively, you can take it using a medicine spoon as directed.

Phoenix How to Use Herbal Granules - Bathe

Bathe: if your patient suffers from a skin irritation such as eczema or psoriasis, then this method might be for you! Add the prescribed granules to a deep bowl and pour in 1-2 litres of warm water. Stir until the granules have dissolved and when the water is a comfortable temperature, bathe the problematic area. The temperature of the water and the steam will help soothe any pain or irritation.

Phoenix - How to use Herbal Granules - Ointment

Ointment: if you don’t fancy bathing a skin irritation then try creating an ointment. In a shallow dish, add your Phoenix concentrated granules. Then, add a little sesame oil, vinegar and water to the dish. Mix all the ingredients to make the paste. Apply the ointment to the affected areas, and then apply a secure bandage over the area. Repeat until the irritation clears up.
