BAcC Gate of Life Conference 2018

At Phoenix, we look forward to the British Acupuncture Council’s Conference every year! The conference is a great excuse to step away from our desks, meet so many talented and passionate acupuncturists and put lots of faces to names. As well as exhibiting our products, conferences are also a great place to meet so many customers – old and new.

However, this year was even more exciting as it was our first year being main sponsors! As many of you know, we have a great working relationship with the BAcC and we are thrilled to be partnering with them for the next 3 years.

This year’s theme was ‘Gate of Life’ and provided lectures on how acupuncture provides a gateway to a healthier and happier life. The weekend included topics such as how acupuncture can benefit insomnia, emotional trauma, menopause and endometriosis taught by 24 practitioners and lecturers from all over the globe.

Conferences are a great opportunity to showcase our products and for you to try before you buy. As always, we featured our most popular acupuncture needles, moxa and Aura tea. We also got to reveal lots of our new products including our P-Type Plastic Handle Needles, our full Mycology Nutrition range and our new Muscle Comfort Warming and Cooling Plasters – which proved very popular!

We started our weekend practising Qi Gong with Peter Deadman, the day engaging with practitioners, and the night dancing away at the Gala Dinner. So thank you to the BAcC team for hosting another successful event and thank you to everyone that came and said hello!

As we are the new sponsors for the BAcC Annual Conference, members and students get an exclusive 25% discount code to spend on our top quality acupuncture needles. Simply enter the code GATEOFLIFE25 at the checkout to save. You can visit the shop now or find out more about our sponsorship.

As always, we had a great time at the weekend and we’re already looking forward to next year!
