Coronavirus: Updated Air Purifying Herb Bags for Summer

Herb Bags

As the weather is getting warmer and more people are returning to work or spending time outside, we have updated the formula for our Air Purifying Herb Bags. We had an overwhelming response to our previous herb bags, which helped to purify the air in our homes to help us to reduce our chances of contracting coronavirus or the general cold and flu.

Similarly to potpourri, anti-bacterial and anti-viral dried herbs can be put into small cloth bags and placed around your home. The fragrant essential oils from the herbs may evaporate into the air and cleanse your home environment. These herb bags are very easy to make and the herbs are available from our online shop, subject to availability as demand is very high at this time.

The updated formulas now include more cooling herbs, which not only cleanse the air but also boost our internal immune systems. Cooling herbs such as Ge Gen and Zhi Qiao have been added as they are more appropriate for this time of year, as well as fragrant herbs like Chen Pi and Ding Xiang. The Chinese health authorities recommended that this is one of the most effective preventative measures that we can do in our own homes.

Ingredients:

This formula is for one 28g herb bag. We recommend using 5-10 bags around your house and clinic. You can also sell them onto your patients for use in their own homes. As we have an in-house dispensary, we are producing Air Purifying Herb Bags as packs of 10 for sale. You can purchase ready-made bags from our online shop or make your own.

How to use:

Place the bags around your home.

The fragrant essential oils will evaporate into the air. Sniffing a bag occasionally will allow you to inhale the essential oils and this may help to boost your immune system. As the Coronavirus affects the respiratory system, inhaling the bags for its anti-viral properties may help to ward off any potential infections.

After 2 weeks, we recommend that you burn the bags in a steel pot away from flammable objects. As the herbs burn, they will release more essential oils into the air.

Replace the bags with fresh ones every 2 weeks.

We hope that this information has been helpful. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about this formula. We encourage practitioners to share this formula with others so that more people are aware of the range of preventative measures that can be put in place.
